![]() ![]() Is there any other 32-bit web browser out there compatible with Snow Leopard 10.6.8 iMac (20-inch Early 2006), iOS 6.1.4. SeaMonkey is also from the Mozilla Group and I presume its end will come soon. There is a free demo of EasyDraw that you can download, but I don't know if it includes AppleWorks translators. FireFox has announce that it will end support for Snow Leopard in August. The 32-bit version, EasyDraw Retro, is still available for $95 directly from the developer's web site. The App Store version of EasyDraw is 64-bit, costs $30, and does NOT import legacy formats such as AppleWorks. Here is a detailed guide for moving past Appleworks: The following is a list of known, up-to-date (or relatively up-to-date) and maintained web browsers, e-mail clients, and FTP clients, for Intel Macs with at least Snow Leopard support, then Lion. As far as I know, only certain versions of EasyDraw can be used to translate them into something more modern. Finding web browsers that are still usable on today’s web can be a chore for older versions of OS X. Already AW's drawing format is the hardest of the AW formats to find translators for. ![]() You need to translate your documents before translators for them become extinct. The problem is that AW has been discontinued for years now, and translators for AW file formats are becoming scarce. According to Mozillas metrics, 24 of those running the Mac version of Firefox 3.5 rely on Tiger, while 12 of those running the just-released Firefox 3.6 do. I highly recommend that you stop using AW (AppleWorks) for creating drawings, that you move to a more modern replacement, and that you convert all of your existing AW drawing documents into a more modern format *immediately*. At home I have an old MacBook running OSX 10.6.8 and Ive found that using Firefox 48.0.2 (the newest version compatible with this OS X) provides the most. ![]()
